Founded by a sister-duo, Minds Underground™ (MU) is an online interactive learning platform, designed to support and enhance curriculum learning, to encourage an open debate of ideas and increase students’ ability to communicate and solve problems in our fast-paced world.
We offer a treasure-trove of clubs & courses, masterclasses, summer schools, and work/ research opportunities, supporting students’ voyages of discovery into a wide realm of STEM and Humanities subjects – from Sustainability, Machine Learning and Astrophysics, to World Literature and Law. We offer a hybrid educational solution, utilising the latest developments in EdTech and our community of masterminds, 700+ Oxbridge graduates & Ivy League mentors with experience across a range of cutting-edge industries, to open students’ eyes to the immense possibilities available to them in degree subjects and future careers.

Our Story
Through years of extensive tuition experience, it became clear that from an increasingly early age, students are faced with a ceaseless stream of exam papers, with traditional tuition services largely geared towards preparing students for tests. Students who don't suit this style of learning fall through the cracks and even the best-performing students can forget how their learning links to the outside world. Our curriculum could do more to reflect the global landscape and pace of change.
The ethos of our parent company, U2 Tuition, was always to put the YOU back into learning, inspiring and invigorating students to reach their individual academic goals and aspirations. To this end, we built out our dedicated extra-curricular platform which directly feeds into our on-curriculum examination and university application programmes. Our students who engage beyond the school curriculum inadvertently see improvements in their on-curriculum performance, are the most likely to succeed in school and university applications, and are most importantly, the most likely to enjoy learning.

All Online.
Our masterclasses and courses are run online, via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Both platforms allow users to share their screens simultaneously and co-annotate on online whiteboards in an interactive session. Students will be notified of any additional software they need to download prior to the session, for example for programming sessions or computing labs. Our masterclasses & courses are designed to fit perfectly into students’ schedules, organised in their own time.
